I am working with a leading global Tech Company who are looking for a Lead Engineer to lead one of their engineering squads (broken down on various levels but all using the MERN stack)

This is a 60% hands off role (focusing on leading projects, strategy, management, architecture & commercials) and the other 40% being hands on with their core engineering stack - Node, TypeScript, AWS & React.

You'll need to have an in depth background in engineering and have a proven track record of leading teams to reach company targets & objectives. You'll work on enterprise scale projects with a global reach and be heavily responsible for creating simple solutions to complex engineering problems.

This role is based in their Product & Innovation part of the business so there will be LOTS of Product Development and chance to work on greenfield projects.

Having experience mentoring Engineers is also very important! You must be a self starter & good communicator! Being in a large company stakeholder... management is also very important.

You will need an in depth technical understanding of the following list of technologies:

• CI/CD
