About Us
At LEAP FIT Studio, our mission is to help individuals become fitter, stronger, and more confident in their fitness journeys. Founded by Hackney-based personal trainers, JJ Jegede and Amy Naomi, we recognised a gap in the traditional gym model: many members lacked the proper guidance to achieve meaningful results. That’s why we set out to create a solution.
Launched in March 2020 Leap Fit developed a training model that ensures maximum progress, no matter how busy your lifestyle. We offer tailored fitness programs that provide structure and expert support, perfect for those who want results without the guesswork.
We are an independent fitness studio, offering a range of services including small group personal training, one-on-one personal training, transformation packages, meal preparation, and a... variety of classes from our Build, Shred, Pulse, and Flex. Our programs cater to everyone—from beginners to advanced athletes—and are designed to help our clients master the fundamentals of training, nutrition, and wellbeing.

About the Job:
As a Personal Trainer at Leap Fit, you will play a key role in fostering an energetic and supportive environment for our members. Your primary responsibilities include leading small classes, conducting one-on-one personal training sessions, and maintaining the gym floor. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients feel confident and guided on their fitness journeys while contributing to the overall success of the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
• * Lead Small Group Classes & Personal Training: Conduct engaging small group personal training (PT) sessions and classes tailored to clients' fitness levels and goals.
• Follow the provided class format: Use the class format to ensure there is a high standardised structure for each class
• Health Assessments: To track members' progress, perform health checks for members using Leap Fit’s health tools, including scales and a blood pressure monitor.
• Gym Maintenance: Ensure the gym floor is, safe, and organised, providing a welcoming environment for clients.
• Community Building: Foster a positive, inclusive, supportive atmosphere encouraging member engagement.
• Gym Promotions & Content Creation: Occasionally participate in gym promotion activities, which may include handing out leaflets or creating content (photos/videos) for social media while in the gym.
• Stay Updated & Develop Professionally: Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and training techniques. Participate in all Leap Fit classes to enhance your skills.
• Personal Training Sessions: Be able to provide personal training sessions following a format to ensure high standardised personal training sessions
Applicant Requirements
• * Experience: At least two years of experience teaching a variety of exercise classes, working on the gym floor, and conducting personal training sessions.
• Adaptability: Ability to tailor sessions to meet the unique needs and fitness levels of participants, ensuring a personalised experience.
• Flexibility: Must be available to work during mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends to accommodate client schedules.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with clients, communicate effectively, and motivate individuals to reach their goals.
• Personality: Approachable, energetic, and passionate about health and fitness. The ideal candidate should embody the positive, motivating energy of Leap Fit.
• Administrative Skills: Comfortable with light administrative tasks such as adding new clients to the system and managing client records.
