We are seeking a passionate and motivated Intern Dog Groomer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the pet grooming industry. As an intern, you will assist our professional groomers in daily grooming tasks and learn the basics of animal care, grooming techniques, and customer service. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop grooming skills while working with various dog breeds in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and basic grooming of dogs.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for handling and restraining dogs during grooming sessions.
• Ensure grooming areas, tools, and equipment are kept clean and sanitized.
• Support the team in maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for pets.
• Engage in customer service by greeting clients, answering basic grooming questions, and assisting with check-in and check-out... processes.
• Observe and learn advanced grooming techniques, including haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and more.
• Keep detailed records of each dog’s grooming history and special requirements.
• Provide dogs with a positive experience by ensuring gentle, patient handling.

Requirements:
• Passion for animals and an interest in learning the dog grooming profession.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry animals up to [insert weight limit].
• Ability to follow safety protocols and handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and conditions.
• Previous experience with animals (professional or personal) is a plus but not required.
