Job Descrption
We have an exciting opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a busy, successful small animal practice located in sought after Hertfordshire near to Greater London borders.
• full time opportunity working 4 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and no Sundays no OOH
• practice is well established and has up to date facilities including; operating theatre, 3 consult rooms, large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, imaging/dental area, digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, ECG, and tonometer etc.
• varied case load with the opportunity to work cases up and many complex cases are managed at the clinic, including orthopaedics.
• join a friendly and welcoming team of 5 Vet Surgeons and 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• fully supported CPD with opportunity to pursue any specific interests.
• RCVS and BVA memberships and VDS cover paid
• well located with a variety of facilities close at hand and only 30 minutes away by train from central London and 15 minutes from Luton... airport.
• welcome bonus paid up to £5K and relocation up to £5K
Person Requirements
• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• able to can carry out routine surgeries, client consultations and work up cases
