Hairdressing Assistant Wanted at Hayato London

Our salons in New York, Tokyo and London are constantly expanding to provide services to satisfy our growing clientele. We are now looking for a Hairdressing Assistant to join our team at our salon in Covent Garden, Central London.

As professionals, we don't compromise on quality and we always prioritise customer satisfaction, not just technical skills.
The first skill you will learn is our original shampoo and head and shoulder massage service. Although this may not be a common skill/service for local hairdressers, it is a key part of your role as an 'assistant' in this salon, going beyond just cleaning duties.
While these responsibilities are important, we understand they may not be the most glamorous. However, we... understand that everyone wants to grow into a stylist quickly and use their creativity. Our assistants practice daily, even after work, showing their dedication to improving their skills.
Our work culture may be different from typical local salons, with a strong emphasis on the high standards of Japanese and Asian culture, so motivation and resilience are key.
We do not require extensive experience, as we provide full training, but we are seeking candidates who are hardworking, friendly, and dependable.
[Qualifications]
• Able to work legally in the UK for at least 1 year from the date of application
• Able to work with respect and humility
• Be interested in any Asian / Japanese cultures
• Have at least 1 year's floor experience in a hairdressing salon, or a beauty college qualification or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing (your skills will be tested during your trial period)

• Assisting hair stylists' work
• Preparing clients for treatment
• Shampooing & massaging clients

[Working Time]
• 5 working days per week (must be able to work both or either Saturday or Sunday)
• 9:30am to 6:30pm with an hour lunch break everyday
[Benefits]
• Training consists of 48 courses, colour, perm, basic haircut and advanced haircut
• Flexible training time with hair model during business hour
• Christmas / New Year holidays, full Statutory Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Maternity / Paternity Leave
• Vacation is also acceptable by discuss with manager
[Salary]
• Start from £11.50 per hour
• £50~200 per month position allowance, e.g. product management
• Incentives from sales
• Salary increases by skills and motivation
