Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a talented Creative Self-Employed Hairstylist to join our vibrant team at SMUK London. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional haircuts, mastering the art of natural colour transformations, and creating a positive impact in clients' lives, then this opportunity is for you. Responsibilities:
• Perform outstanding haircuts and natural colour transformations that enhance clients' natural beauty and confidence.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their style preferences, lifestyle, and hair care needs, providing personalised recommendations and solutions.
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for clients, fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere within the salon.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hairstyling industry, continuously refining your skills and expertise.
• Embrace the eco-friendly ethos of SMUK London, promoting sustainable practices and recommending cruelty-free products to clients.
• Contribute to the positive energy and camaraderie within the team, offering support and encouragement to fellow hairstylists.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a hairstylist, with a focus on delivering excellent haircuts and natural colour transformations.
• Strong proficiency in cutting, colouring, and styling techniques, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and creating memorable experiences for clients.
• Enthusiasm for maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere within the salon, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
• Valid certification or license as a hairstylist.
• Alignment with SMUK London's values of sustainability, inclusivity, and excellence in beauty.
• Existing London-based clientele is a plus.
