Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 5am - 1 pm (Monday - Sunday on a rota basis)
Contract: Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our facilities team as a House Keeping Operative / Cleaner.
Responsibilities of the House Keeping Operative/Cleaner
As the House Keeping Operative, you will assist the House Keeping Supervisor by undertaking a wide range of cleaning duties to meet the Hospice requirements, monitored outcomes, and high standards within all clinical areas and throughout the whole Hospice setting.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with all, ensuring House Keeping delivers a positive, friendly, and efficient service to patients, relatives, visitors, and staff while responding promptly to complaints and queries.
Utilize expertise in cleaning to ensure that tasks are effectively carried out.
Work with the Inpatient Unit staff to ensure that Inpatient Unit rooms obtain clinical sign off.
Ensure adherence to all hospice... policies and statutory regulations relating to the safe and hygienic operation of the IPU areas.

• Length of service for those joining directly from another CQC regulated organisation (NHS, social care, hospice) is recognised in annual leave, maternity, paternity, and long-term sickness pay.
