London, United Kingdom

Job Descrption
A bit about the role:

Are you a communications expert with a knack for managing clear communications around operational issues or important/emergency situations? We’re looking for a Guest Communications Manager to support our HX brand, focusing on Irregular Operations (IROPs) that can arise from anything—from severe weather disruptions, planned dock changes right through to geopolitical outbreaks.

In this dynamic role, you'll craft clear, engaging communications for different audiences including guests, crew, and senior leadership, ensuring the HX brand voice remains consistent and supportive. You'll work closely with regional PR teams, the operations teams, internal stakeholders, and guest relations to maintain seamless communication during moments of either planned changes or crises.

What You'll Do:
• Develop and produce a variety of guest communications, including briefings, web copy, and social media content.
• Support management on crisis communication strategies.
•... Collaborate on ad hoc projects to enhance brand awareness.
• Be available 24/7 for irregular incidents (with additional on-call compensation).
• As well as the IROPs work you will work on ad hoc projects to further drive awareness and a consistent tone of voice for the HX brand and their teams – i.e. PR or internal comms work (this could be up to 25% of the work when IROPs are not happening).

About you:

What We’re Looking For:
• 3-5 years of experience in a busy communications office, press office, operations, PR, or a related field.
• Proven track record in fast-paced operations and issues management.
• Strong multimedia content production skills.
• Excellent communication skills: fluency in English required (German or French a plus).

What You’ll Get:
• Be part of a dedicated, dynamic team.
• Opportunities for global collaboration and growth.
• A chance to make a significant impact within our organisation.
