Job Overview
As the New Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all new patients and play a critical role in shaping their experience with us. You’ll be responsible for welcoming and guiding new patients through the onboarding process, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and valued from their very first interaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient-focused attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
•... Patient Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for new patients, managing all communications via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Consultation Management: Schedule initial consultations and follow-up appointments, providing all necessary information to patients about the process.
• Patient Education: Educate new patients on the range of services offered, financial options, and any necessary pre-visit instructions.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic’s management system, coordinate with dental teams on patient needs, and manage any additional administrative tasks.
• Follow-up & Support: Conduct post-consultation follow-ups to ensure patient satisfaction and answer any further questions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to streamline patient onboarding and ensure a seamless experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Previous Experience: Proven experience in a patient-facing role, preferably within the dental or healthcare sector.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Customer Service: Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a patient-centric approach.
• Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using practice management software, AI software, CRM systems and standard office tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Professionalism: Friendly, approachable, and empathetic, with a polished and professional demeanor.
