Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, addressing any mechanical issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times and locations.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Assist in maintaining an organised warehouse environment... when not on delivery duties.

Qualifications
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with flatbed vehicles is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 37 per week

• Driving: 1 year (required)
