Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidates will inspire and educate students in a positive learning environment.
Please Note: This is a re-issue of an earlier advert; there is no need to apply if you have already applied earlier. This is a part-time role, for 3 days per week or the equivalent time over 5 days Monday - Friday.
Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Ability to effectively manage student behaviour in a classroom environment
- Excellent mentoring and tutoring skills to support student learning
