Located in Bromley, Kent, Breaside Preparatory School provides a rich learning environment for your son or daughter. The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team working part-time, 3 days per week (Tues, Weds, Thurs) .

We are looking for an Early Years Assistant to assist in providing a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment for children. Also, to work within the standards and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in planning and assessment as well as helping children of all attainment levels achieve their full potential. The children in the Kindergarten are aged between 2½ years and 3½ years.
To be considered for this role you will have NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or equivalent, strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage Curriculum and experience of delivering phonics to Early Years aged children (Jolly Phonics and Read, Write, Inc). We would also expect experience of working with children and able to meet their needs and understanding of Safeguarding.
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and caring attitude with the ability to engage in a warm and supportive way with children. Competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience
