Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager/Deputy to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in early childhood education, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children.
Responsibilities
• Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
• Ensure that all health and safety policies are adhered to within the nursery setting.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided to children aged 0-5 years.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and other necessary documentation.
• Organise staff training... sessions to promote professional development within the team.
Experience
• Strong background in early childhood education, with relevant qualifications preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication with staff and parents.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
