Job Overview
We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic full-time Cake Decorator to join our team and help bring our inspired creations to life.
Location
35 Topsfield Parade, London N8 8PT
Key Responsibilities
• Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, maintaining our signature aesthetic and quality standards
• Collaborate with our baking team to ensure high-quality cake bases for decorating
• Interpret customer requests and translate them into edible works of art
• Manage time effectively to meet order and workload deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Stay up-to-date with cake decorating trends and techniques
• Contribute creative ideas for new cake designs
Requirements
• Proven experience in cake... decorating, 2 years minimum
• Strong artistic skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of various decorating techniques (e.g., fondant work, piping, airbrushing)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Passion for the punk aesthetic and alternative culture is a plus!
Hours
Full-time position, 45 hours per week. Weekend and evening work will be required.
Compensation
£11.50 - £12.00 per hour, depending on experience
