Position Overview:

Eggfree Cake Box is seeking a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team at Chelmsford. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual appeal of our cakes and desserts, ensuring they not only taste amazing but also look stunning. This position offers a unique opportunity to work both in the front and back of house, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:

Front of House:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with their cake selection, and provide product knowledge and recommendations.

Order Management: Accurately record and fulfill customer orders, ensuring they are packaged and presented beautifully.

Maintain Display: Ensure the front-of-house cake display is well-maintained, fully stocked, and visually appealing to attract customers.

Cash Handling: Process customer transactions, handle cash and card payments, and maintain an organized cash register.

Handle Inquiries: Answer... customer inquiries, resolve issues or concerns promptly, and maintain a positive customer experience.

Back of House:

Cake Decoration: Utilize your artistic skills to decorate cakes and desserts according to our high-quality standards, following design guidelines and custom requests.

Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure all products leaving the kitchen meet our taste and appearance standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels of decorating supplies, and assist in placing orders as needed.

Kitchen Cleanliness: Adhere to sanitation and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate cake preparation and decoration schedules during peak times.

Pay: £6.99-£14.59 per hour
