We have a fantastic opportunity to lead the hospitality team at a prestigious and very busy multi outlet location in London.
We are recruiting for an Executive Chef Manager to lead the team at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. With a retail cafe and restaurant feeding over 1000 customers a day as well as significant hospitality and events it's a busy site and a can do attitude is definitely a must.
As an Executive Chef Manager, you will take full responsibility for the the day-to-day operation and act as our location based ambassador ensuring that we deliver on our promises to our client and customers. This role combines culinary expertise with leadership skills. The ideal candidate will bring creative flair, have an insatiable appetite for detail and be able to organise multiple workloads across different outlets.
Leadership:
• You’re the... key day to day point of contact for both the client team, and the Thomas & Tate Management Team so you have a key role to play in the success and happiness of each party.
• You’re the leader for your team. They look to you for decisions and support
Culinary Skills
• You are comfortable developing and implementing creative menus that showcase the very best of their skills to our hungry customers.
• You will ensure that we deliver the highest quality standards and presentation every day
• You are comfortable cooking dishes from scratch with fresh ingredients - we don't do frozen and we don't do connivence food - we're all about the cooking and you will need to do a trade test.
Operational Excellence:
• You are responsible for maintaining our food safety management system and health and safety management system at The Royal Central School.
• You will be able to implement and maintain all standard operating procedures related to food preparation, safety, and allergen management at your location
• You’ll have excellent financial acumen, able to run the account in line with our expectations and training. You are ultimately responsible for the financial success of the company, being small every decision is important, and we trust you to think commercially, as well as creatively.
Talent Development:
• You will recruit, train, and mentor your team to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
• You'll be an advocate for development and create opportunities for advancement
• You will need to conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
• Most importantly you will be a role model to your team, nurturing growing talent and empower them to deliver the best service and food.
