Job Summary Position: Private Chef (Residential)
INDIAN/ ASIAN COOKING
Location - currently Bayswater, moving to Knightsbridge soon.
The key objective will be to of keeping the kitchen running smoothly, preparation of food and general upkeep of the kitchen.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparing and cooking ingredients necessary and assisting in all sections of the kitchen as directed
2. Maintaining high levels of service
3. Assisting and monitoring stock, including stock rotation,
4. Ensuring minimum kitchen wastage
5. Keeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
6. Learning skills and recipes from other members of the department and applying them 7. Complying with all company policies and procedures and all statutory regulations and food hygiene policies.
8. Ensure that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with the company’s Food Hygiene, Healthy and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

11. Producing menu ideas
12. Serving and preparing meals for the Staff
13. Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
14. Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
15. Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
16. Reporting any faulty equipment to the house manager/ principal.
17. Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times.
18. Keeping breakages down to a minimum.
19. Complying with the daily/weekly/monthly rotas.
20. Attending training programmes when required.
21. Accepting food deliveries from suppliers and storing them.
22. Using the correct amount of specialist chemicals when cleaning work surfaces and equipment. Skills and Attributes

Pay: £43,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
