The Group IT Administrator will oversee and manage the IT infrastructure across multiple hotel properties within the group. This role will ensure that all IT systems, including cloud applications and Office 365, are secure, aligned with business objectives, and effectively support daily operations. The Administrator will collaborate closely with hotel management and senior IT staff to implement robust IT solutions..

We are looking for an Agile IT professional to join the Doyle Collection team to work within our Technology team. The right candidate will have proven experience working in IT operations and projects within an Agile environment, preferably within the hospitality industry. Collaboratively working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to deliver IT Support and technology initiatives to a high standard and to specified deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate project fundamentals, including... project documentation, planning, resources and communication
• Manage resources and stakeholders
• Act as a conduit for IT support for the business, working in lock-step with our IT Managed Service Provider to deliver first line support to users.
• Understand and manage the IT procurement and Vendor management process.
• Assist with Business Analysis and support Project Delivery
• Keep documentation up-to-date
• Analyse and support training needs of end users, ensuring the new systems and processes are embedded into the organisation
• Provide support to Head of IT, as required
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of IT infrastructure, including servers, PC, Wi- fi, TV, PBX, networks, CCTV, Guest in room tech etc.
• Ensure continuous availability of critical hotel systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems and various PMS Interfaces.
• Manage and secure cloud applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Oversee user access, permissions, and deployment of applications in the Microsoft Cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalate as needed

Skills
• Understanding fundamentals of IT systems, processes and procedures
• Strong background in managing IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills – able to disseminate complex technical information to a non-technical audience, both verbally and in writing
• Highly organised, with attention to detail around process and documentation
• Administer and manage Office 365 environments, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect IT assets and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Conduct regular security audits and develop disaster recovery plans.
