Job Opportunity: Risk Business Systems and Projects Analyst

Location: London (must have the right to work in the UK)

Salary: 95K plus BB

Are you ready to take on a key role in delivering strategic risk projects? We are seeking a Risk Business Systems/Projects Analyst who will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of high-impact projects within the Chief Risk Office for our Capital Markets client.

This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals with a strong quantitative background and expertise in risk management, system development, and financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Risk Managers and Controllers to ensure the smooth execution of complex projects.
• Deliver assigned projects and system development initiatives, while also driving risk and control improvement opportunities.
• Work independently to elicit, validate, and document system requirements, acting as a central point of contact for development teams.
• Engage with... business areas to understand high-level requirements, presenting commercial insights and challenging assumptions when necessary.
• Contribute to the design process and testing strategy, ensuring that all requirements are met and fully tested.

Skills and Experience:
• Strong quantitative background, with knowledge of options pricing, hedging, and risk management concepts.
• In-depth understanding of financial markets, particularly in risk management or trading from a Brokerage or Banking institution.
• Experience in risk system development, project lifecycles, and working with Risk Technology departments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly VBA in Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
