Overview of the role:
Responsible for conducting quality assurance testing on software applications to ensure that the products meet customer expectations. Creating and executing test plans, verifying results, and documenting defects using a bug-tracking system. In addition, work with developers to resolve defects.
Reporting to our Lead Tester, the core duties & areas the role will cover includes:
• Producing test plans, test scenarios and test scripts across the whole testing lifecycle based on an agreed Test Strategy & Approach for the target solution covering 3rd party System/ Functional testing, E2E, regression and UAT testing.
• Testing the functionality and usability of new or existing software before it goes live to ensure it is bug-free
• Assisting in managing the programme test environments, tracking configuration of target solutions to be tested and ensuring they are representative of production.
• Assisting in managing the programme quality gateways, tracking quality criteria across 3rd party deliveries into Newcleo and pass thorough Unit / System, Integration.
• Defining and executing agreed test scenarios & scripts to assure the new Product solution passes UAT and Regression testing to minimise implementation risks, assure deployment and enable reliable customer satisfaction.
• Managing defects through to resolution via multiple test cycles working alongside 3rd parties and internal technical teams.
• Ensuring all testing requirements, functional and technical, are well defined and captured in appropriate project documentation.

The role can be based in our UK Italian or French based offices, where we have a hybrid & flexible working policy of 3 days per week in the office.

We would like to speak to people who have:
• Knowledge and experience of testing within an Agile and Waterfall environment.
• Minimum of three years working as a test analyst
• Understanding of products like SuccessFactors, NetSuite, Concur, PLM, CRM products, Data flow/ API.
• Experience in developing and contributing to processes and policies for testing
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience managing the implementation, configuration and customisation of Siemens TeamCentre PLM within a highly complex, regulatory and multi-country business.
• Excellent communicator able to clearly understand, solve and educate the teams in all technical issues.
• A broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies & best practices.
• Willingness to travel between Manchester, Gloucester, London, Lyon, Paris, Turin and new offices as they open.
