(Mobile) Test & inspect Electrician needed
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team for Twickenham & surrounding areas, covering around 50 miles radius. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues. Basic Salary around £38K per annum plus Bonus, OTE 40K+
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
• Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical... installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
• Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition
• In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
