Position: Maintenance Coordinator

Location: SE1, London

Salary: £30,000-£37,500 Per Annum

Department: Property

Position Overview:

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join our Property Team, working closely with the Facilities Manager and Senior Property Manager to oversee and coordinate reactive maintenance across the Black Sheep Coffee estate as well as providing support to our ever-growing network of franchisees. If you’re passionate about problem-solving and ensuring smooth operations, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

· Manage and process maintenance requests through Zendesk, working with external contractors to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

· Maintain clear and open communication with the Operations Team and Facilities Manager, especially when issues impact store operations and BAU.

· Ensure all planned maintenance contracts (waste collection, pest control, sanitary services, etc.) are in place for new store openings.

·... Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all compliance records and certificates are properly documented.

· Approve maintenance-related invoices through the AP system.

· Serve as the primary contact for urgent issues, including out-of-hours and weekend emergencies when on rota.

Requirements:

· Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, including but not limited to refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, Drainage and plumbing systems.

· Available to work on a 40-hour schedule. Rotating weekend cover amongst the team as required to ensure full coverage and support for ongoing operations.

· Previous experience in a hospitality or retail environment, ideally in a maintenance or similar role.

· Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing systems (preferred).

· Highly organised and detail oriented.

· Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to handle pressure and manage maintenance issues calmly and efficiently.
