Mechanical Fitter required at FM Conway!
We are now looking to recruit a self-motivated and proactive individual to ensure all required maintenance duties are carried out, including preventative maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and executing mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding and maintaining very high housekeeping standards by clearing blockages and cleaning up. This full-time permanent role will be based at our Erith depot, working on a four-on-four off rota.
The Mechanical Fitter role
• Being a part of our maintenance team, on an alternating day and night shifts
• Ensuring all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely
• Confirming the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standards
• Complying with company health, safety, and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately
• Undertaking other duties and any ad hoc projects as required by the business
What we are looking for in our Mechanical Fitter
To be considered for this role you must... be a qualified Fitter and have experience in Mechanical repair skills also burning, welding and fabrication skills will be needed.
