Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while optimising business processes and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Duties
• Manage daily production activities to ensure adherence to quality control standards and production schedules.
• Implement and monitor business processes to enhance operational efficiency within the production team.
• Oversee supply chain management, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components necessary for production.
• Utilise SAP systems for tracking inventory levels, production metrics, and reporting on performance outcomes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Provide training and... support to team members in assembly techniques and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any production-related issues or challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and systems.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement strategies effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
