Job overview:
M&A Digital Media is looking for a Market Research Analyst to join our team and help drive data-driven decisions that impact our marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, customer behaviour, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide business strategies and campaigns for both our local and international clients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies, both in the UK and internationally, especially focusing on the Chinese market;
- Analyse consumer behaviour... and preferences to inform targeted digital marketing strategies, campaigns, and product development;
- Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions using various methods, such as surveys, focus groups, SEO tools, and analytics software;
- Develop detailed reports and presentations on market findings, insights, and trends to aid decision-making across various departments (marketing, product development, sales);
- Provide in-depth analysis of digital marketing metrics, including social media engagement, SEO performance, SEM campaigns, and online consumer interactions;
- Track and forecast emerging digital marketing trends and provide actionable insights to enhance our clients' marketing strategies;
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide research-backed insights to tailor digital marketing solutions;
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, and development to align research findings with overall business objectives.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills;
- Proven Market Research Analysis experience;
- Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask;
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task;
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen;
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking;
- Be able to communicate in mandarin is a plus.

Pay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
