Eurofins Integrated Discovery UK Ltd is part of the Eurofins Discovery group with expertise of delivering preclinical candidates. Are you excited by working in a dynamic environment? Eurofins Integrated Discovery are recruiting an experienced Cell Biologist to join our Biology Team and help establish new assays, discover new biology and generate decision making data for the advancement of new therapeutics. Our recent successes in this field have included the introduction of efferocytosis, phagocytosis and gene expression assays and their application to discovery programs. Expanding upon these recent innovations, we are currently developing assays in the autophagy and mitophagy space. This role calls for someone who thrives on challenge and invention.

At least 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary research environment within the life science industry with relevant experience in cell-based assay development. Experience of cell imaging and/or mitochondrial cell biology would be an advantage.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
You will also be able to demonstrate good understanding of biology/biochemistry sufficiently to interpret routine results, develop assays in line with customer requirements and use problem-solving skills to propose alternatives.
You are a key team player with the ability to deliver results within tight deadlines. You possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach.
