What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking, part time phlebotomist / nursing assistant to join our clinical team 3 - 4 days a week.
If you are a qualified phlebotomist or with nursing experience, with a passion in clinical care, meticulous attention to details, and are longing for a challenge to combine your cultural background with your professional development, this is the perfect position for you.
The work content is dynamic, involving a multitude of tasks from taking swabs, performing... venipuncture, to helping with translation and assisting clinical consultations. From practising clinical duties to enhancing service provision, This position provides wide exposure to the ambitious individual with great opportunity to grow leadership and management skills.
This part-time role (3-4 days per week) offers flexible working arrangements and the potential to transition to full-time. The initial contract is for six months, with the option of a permanent position upon successful completion.
We are seeking individuals with excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering the highest quality care.
Regarding Visa
MEDii is an approved Tier 2 work visa sponsor by the home office. We are happy to provide sponsorship for the right candidate. However, we do require the applicant to be currently in the UK holding a valid visa(if applicable), and have work experience here.

Job Duties
• Conducting clinical duties of taking care of visiting patients, taking vitals, measurements and samples for testing.
• Taking swabs and blood samples and labelling them correctly for the lab pick up and drop off.
• Managing patient records and ensure a smooth flow of the clinic's daily duties
• Maintaining the hygiene and professional look of the testing site.
• Observing a general duty of care for the health, safety and well-being of yourself, work colleagues, visitors and patients within the clinic,
• Maintaining patient confidentiality, dignity and privacy at all times.
• Strictly adhering to the National Code of Practice on Infection Control.
• Reporting and communication of clinical activities with the team to ensure a smooth patient journey and accurate documentation timely
