• Is the subject matter expert for selected Visa Solutions (e.g. Issuer, Acquirer and Merchant APIs) – APIs that determine how consumers interact with their mobile banking apps or at the merchant
• Accountable for product lifecycle in Europe. Is able to understand technology deeply and work with Global product owners to influence the product roadmap, with an eye towards innovation and product improvements to ensure Visa can remain competitive
• Capable to technically and commercially assess new product enhancements, identify new revenue opportunities, building on successful implementations and helping the team to grow the pipeline of new projects, both through direct sales approach or Visa resellers
• Work closely with Europe hub and market teams, and other Visa companies to help scale projects and define Go-To-Market strategy to expand Digital APIs adoption (understanding and addressing associated impacts and technical requirements)
• Collaborating closely with the sales teams in market, driving digital capability deployments, leveraging both internal and third-party solutions
• Actively manage a small set of priority partners that complement Visa’s current capabilities. This means continuously evaluating the rationale for the partnership to ensure that capabilities remain complementary to in-house solutions
• Act as a subject matter expert for selected partner-enabled solutions, supporting market product teams ahead of client discussions, pitches, and internal training
• Work closely with industry and internal stakeholders across the organisation to understand market needs and improve propositions with existing and additional partnerships, enhancing capabilities, that lead to better competitiveness, as well as pricing impacts and go-to-market requirements
• Be responsible for propositions, capabilities, partnerships and commercial roadmap for new technologies for the benefit of Visa clients and partners, including existing solutions and those in pilot, early ideation, and concept stages
• Work closely with Europe hub teams responsible for Core, Credit and Premium products and solutions to ensure programme, annual targets and reporting is aligned on an ongoing basis
• Drive propositions with other product teams in European markets and look at commercial opportunities to scale and distribute that allows for broadening the offering across markets
• Manage bespoke billing and contracts lifecycle, dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide regular updates and reporting to all levels of Visa management on key metrics and objectives. Adapt overall programme tactics and strategies to address challenges, issues, opportunities
• Support key priorities and initiatives from both Global and European leadership as required
• As requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organisation
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
