Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is a lead function within the broader Advisory Services arm of Visa. VCA drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including financial institutions, merchants, governments and fintechs. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, marketing, operational improvement and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. The VCA Strategy & Operations (S&O) team within VCA CEMA is responsible for building up the supporting infrastructure to drive the accelerated growth plan for the world’s pre-eminent payments advisory organization. This includes setting standards, defining go-to-market approaches, creating global platforms and solutions, plus driving operational performance for the function.
This role reports to the Head of Advisory CEMEA and works closely with the VCA CEMEA leadership team, including sub-regional leads, Practice Area leads, and Data Science and Engineering leadership.
The Head of S&O, supports the Head of Advisory in driving the VCA business strategy, performance management, business reporting, operations and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
Lead a small business planning and operations team which is expected to expand to support the growth of the broader VCA CEMEA team.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
•MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
•Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred
•Demonstrated success at structuring, managing, and coordinating complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of business problems
•Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior leadership
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with Global Functions and Regions
•Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees throughout the VCA function
•Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities in English
•Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required
