The UK Core Operations Team Lead reports to the Core Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing the Core Operations team based in UK and ensuring that all customer collections and payments are delivered on time and without error. The Core Operations Team Lead will be playing an active role in the Operations department by managing operational issues, supporting new product implementations and supporting the Core Operations Manager to ensure the best possible service across the wider Operations.

Managing the Core Operations team based in UK, including people management and performance reviews, resource management, training and development.
Taking ownership of Core Operations processes ensuring all manual processes are completed accurately and on time, reducing room for error and driving process improvements.
Working closely with the Core Operations Team Leaders in Netherlands, USA and Singapore to ensure consistency across all teams and to maintain a smooth handover of any issues, escalations or projects between the wider Core Operations teams.
Support the Core Operations Specialists across UK and Netherlands to manage daily issues, escalations, incidents and encouraging collaboration across the team to ensure a seamless Operation.
Ensuring any operational issues are identified, root cause resolved and customer impact mitigated.
In the absence of the Core Operations Manager, holding responsibility for the day to day running of the wider operation and acting as point of escalation for any operational issues.
Support Core Operations Manager and Head of Payment Operations with ad hoc requests, projects and daily routines. Including ownership of key controls and KPI metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure a high standard of service.
Supporting the Operations Delivery Team and Product Teams on new features, new provider implementations and existing provider improvement projects that will impact Core Operations.
Managing Incidents, leading resolution and root cause analysis of operational issues, mitigating customer impact.
Have a continuous understanding of AML, KYC and sanctions applying this knowledge and awareness to all daily activities.
Having a continuous understanding of company Safeguarding obligations and supporting the Treasury & Control functions where required.
