The Finance Manager, Europe Revenue FP&A is responsible for assisting with the Gross Revenue analysis and forecasting, and with development of reporting across the European region.
This person will be part of a team that will be responsible for the end-to-end process to:
Monitor and analyse Europe’s revenue drivers, including underlying transactional performance, and financials
Develop and maintain Finance and Europe-wide reporting and MI tools, utilising PowerBI
Deliver financial forecast modelling focused on revenues and underlying driver performance across Europe
Produce in-month and month-end analysis and materials on Revenue and Revenue driver performance
Deliver financial management analytics and communicate business implications from analysis

This role will report to the Senior Director, Europe Revenue FP&A, and will be based in London at our Paddington office.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking activities on Gross Revenues across Europe
Play a key role in the development of Finance and Europe-wide reporting and MI tools, including PowerBI and Tableau platforms
Query Visa’s transactional and financial datasets to retrieve information in line with business needs
Leverage data and business expertise to ‘deep dive’ into key business trends and performance drivers to provide new insights and influence business strategy
Assist with modelling and exercises to increase profitability and driver growth performance that contribute to short to multi-year regional/country specific goals
Assist with effort to quantify financial results from activities and initiatives identified as part of the planning process
Assist with effort to deliver Gross Revenue budget that will be followed by entire European organization
Communicate business insights from ongoing monitoring and modelling of competitive intelligence metrics leveraging local offices resources and publicly available databases/sources
Proactively track performance of the European business to provide insights that drive actions or remediation plans and ensure delivery of key activities and annual/multi-year goals
Build in-depth knowledge and drive deeper understanding of Visa’s business model and levers across the organization, particularly the Finance Business Partners
Assist with the design and implementation optimized and repeatable Revenue planning processes with clear requirements, shortened cycle times and simplified processes
Assist with management of system changes and implementation of new revenue planning tools in collaboration with Financial Systems Strategy, IT and Global Finance teams
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
• Advanced degree in Finance/Mathematics/Engineering or equivalent experience gained within a large organisation
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an analytical role, in Finance, business intelligence or another data-driven function
• Experience of dealing with large volumes of data, through SQL and PowerQuery
• Experience of working with/developing multi-dimensional databases, ideally using Hyperion, PowerBI (DAX) and/or Tableau
• Outstanding modelling, analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel; able to identify and model challenging business problems with well-structured analyses and quantifiable financial impact
• Highly strategic, strong business acumen
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Capable of handling and prioritizing multiple tasks, possess good judgment and organizational skills, able to work independently, and be extremely flexible
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with senior level executives and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels as a thought-partner
• Welcomes challenging/complex projects and demonstrates self as a change agent with an ability for working "smarter not harder" by making continuous improvement to the efficiency of processes he/she contributes to
