Job Description:
The Analyst position will be a member of the Global Interchange Team supporting all geographies in evaluating global deals, supporting Visa Direct enabler deals, and performing compliance for Visa registration programs.
This in an individual contributor role whose main focus will be supporting the development of global deals, supporting the implementation and ongoing review of these global deals. Additional activities will include supporting registration programs.
This role requires querying large databases to obtain the data necessary to evaluate different interchange opportunities, building financial cost-benefit analyses and models to determine impacts for issuers, acquirers, and Visa using VisaNet data, and make recommendations to management.
The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities. The Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Global Interchange, and will be based at Visa's offices in Foster City, California.
Essential Functions
Structure and build quantitative and qualitative analyses and develop business frameworks linked to our global deal initiatives
Drive the analysis of the financial impact of new global deal opportunities utilizing client and market data
Identify implications of data and analysis with the team, articulate recommendations, put action plans in place and drive progress
Work within cross-functional and cross-regional project teams to solve corporate business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues
Able to manage multiple internal tools for adding new merchants, validation, support activity for sales incentive contracts, and ad hoc client requests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing large amounts of data and comfortable working within an established SLA.
Detailed-oriented self-started who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Build and maintain business landscape knowledge, to provide solid foundational context for critical strategic projects
Participate in continuous training with Global Interchange teams
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced
Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD)
- Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow, and to adapt
to changes in priorities quickly
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and able to meet deadlines
- Quick-thinker, fast learner, wide general knowledge, problem solver
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability
to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,000.00 to 125,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
