Job Description
Reporting into the Global P2P Workstream Lead this is a key operational role which is accountable for delivering an accurate, high value consistent support for M&A and other internal projects. You will be a high performing individual that embraces, and drives change management processes whilst showing effective collaboration with your team and business counterparties. You will also ensure that all company policies are adhered to and that specific duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all Informa customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior P2P Workstream Analyst is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
- Prepare information required to support project related activities
- Mentor and assist the P2P Workstream Analyst
- Support and deputize for the P2P Workstream Lead
- Prepare UAT and manage as required ensuring that standard processes are followed, and any issues identified are escalated and resolved
- Analysis work to help support decision making around projects
- Act as the liaison between P2P delivery teams and project teams/ external parties
- Ensure there is regular communication with the P2P delivery teams throughout the project, that they are clear on what is expected from them both during the project and when it transitions into BAU
- Ensure communications are handled between the SSC and the Business Teams
- Ensure that learnings from one project are taken forward as improvements for future projects
- Prepare desktop procedures for any non-standard processes as a result of project work
- Identify any process improvements
- Analyse and solve ad hoc problems using knowledge of business and systems
- Liaising with the system teams as appropriate to resolve issues identified
- Support ad hoc requests from the project delivery team
- Answer colleague and supplier questions with regards to process changes
- Prepare the P2P aspects for any wrong pocket settlements and other deliverables required to support each TSA.
- Ensure all applicable P2P process documents are up-to-date and readily available and that staff are aware of the key processes and how they function.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Good working knowledge and understanding of SSC processes and how these fit into the wider environment.
- Minimum of 2+ years Accounts Payable experience
- Excellent understanding of all P2P processes including best practice in P2P, people, processes, and technology
- Excellent knowledge of working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
- Ability to manage owe deadline and priorities, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting junior members when they require assistance
- Evidence of making decisions at the right time based on the information available.
- Previous experience in a senior/supervisory role
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle preferred
- Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts
- Advance skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential
