The Opportunity:

We are expanding our Commercial team and are looking for a dynamic, ambitious Investor Relations Manager to join us and help our clients raise capital. In this role, you will work directly with our clients—General Partners (GPs) managing real estate investments—to support their capital-raising efforts with Limited Partners (LPs).

We seek a proactive professional with a proven network of global institutional real estate investors (LPs), exceptional communication and negotiation skills, deep expertise in structuring real estate... investment strategies, and the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
• Capital Raising for Real Estate GPs: Partner with GPs (DoorFeed’s clients) and their Investor Relations teams to design and implement fundraising strategies that attract institutional investors (LPs) such as pension funds, insurance firms, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds to direct real estate investment opportunities.
• LP Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between LPs and GPs, maintaining long-term relationships and addressing LP inquiries related to the GPs’ real estate investment strategies supported by DoorFeed's platform. Ensure smooth communication and coordination between LPs and GPs.
• Strategic Contribution: Creatively connect the dots to prioritise opportunities that will drive business growth and product innovation.
• Market Intelligence and Networking: Stay updated on market trends, investor preferences, and capital flows within the real estate and private equity sectors. Represent the firm at industry conferences, roundtables, and investor forums to build a broader LP network.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.
• Professional Experience: 5-7 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or a similar role within a leading private equity firm, real estate buy-side firm, or capital advisory arm of an investment bank, or a placement agent.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in raising capital from institutional investors (LPs), particularly for direct real estate or real asset investments.
• Ownership: An expressed love for ownership, responsibilities and autonomy. Result-oriented and motivated by performance-driven remuneration.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and active listening skills, essential for crafting compelling narratives and interacting with various stakeholders.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Resilience: A self-starter who is not afraid of objections and demonstrates grit and perseverance.
• Agile Learning: A quick learner who can rapidly assimilate new information, adapt to changing circumstances and thrive on new challenges.
• Collaboration: A team player with a collaborative mindset.
