Genomics England partners with the NHS to provide whole genome sequencing diagnostics. We also equip researchers to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments – with patients and participants at the heart of it all.
Our mission is to continue refining, scaling, and evolving our ability to enable others to deliver genomic healthcare and conduct genomic research.
We are accelerating our impact and working with patients, doctors, scientists, government and industry to improve genomic testing, and help researchers access the health data and technology they need to make new medical discoveries and create more effective, targeted medicines for everybody.
Would you like to use your skills and experience to create fantastic products that enable cutting edge research into the diagnosis of genetic disease in babies?
The Generation Study is a new strategic initiative launched by Genomics England that aims to explore the potential of using whole genome sequencing to improve the diagnosis of rare genetic conditions in newborn babies. As a Senior Product Manager with us, you'll be the facilitator of the products we build. This is an opportunity for you to join us, on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2025, to combine your communication, leadership, problem defining and solving skills to take responsibility for scientific products that will directly impact the advance of genetic medicine.
As Senior Product Manager for the pipeline and variant review products for the Generation study, you will be responsible for a product for almost its full lifecycle – from launch to sunset. You will work with designers, design-researchers, engineers and QAs to develop a minimal loveable product that can launch before the end of the year, you will prioritise essential features for scale up, plan and control the release cycle, and then put measures in place to ensure that data and ongoing processes are integrated into Genomics England business as usual before phasing out the product at the end of the study.
