London Laundry & Dry Cleaning | Tailor / Seamstress

We are a high-end, Central London based dry cleaners looking for an experienced full time tailor/seamstress. We are searching for a highly skilled, professional and friendly tailor to carry out all types of repairs and alterations in our Marylebone based branch.

Requirements:

- Experienced with a range of fabrics and able to carry out all sorts of tailoring and alteration work. (Patchwork, hand-stitching, garment alterations, zip replacements, re-linings, shortening and tapering of garments).

- Able to work as part of a team and carries a positive attitude. Must be able to work as part of a team.

- Experienced with industrial sewing machines.

- Good level of English, and able to converse and interact with our clients and customers. Also multi lingual

- High standard of working, a keen eye to detail.

- Experienced with industrial sewing machines.
• Quality and temperature checks
• Help the front desk with textile/ garment... enquiries
• Ensure all equipment are ready to be used and safely stored after their use
• Having experience in restoring high end quality materials/fabrics e.g. Persian carpets, leather, fur, suede etc
• Mending and alternating delicate garments such as wedding dresses, silk etc.High standard of working, a keen eye to detail
• Have an organised approach to work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£75,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
• Bonus scheme
• Commission pay
• Performance bonus

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
