Job Description

As the Head of Growth you will be responsible for creating successful and sustainable growth for COS globally. With a strategic mindset you will lead a team of diverse colleagues tasked with assessing the viability of new business models and opportunities, and perpetually seeking ways of acquiring new customers and keep existing ones shopping at COS.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a key player in the senior management team, developing relationships with stakeholders across our head office and 3 regional teams. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the global store portfolio, proactively working to create a strategy for future openings, market launches, consolidations, and store optimizations.
  • Oversee and provide a strategic overview to our in-house designers and architects developing our store concepts, openings and rebuilds. 
  • Partner with the head of ecommerce to own, develop and manage our Ecommerce expansion strategy and market launch projects.
  • Develop and execute on strategic roadmap for external partnerships (such as marketplaces, franchise partners etc.) in line with brand identity. 
  • Identify, develop, and launch new revenue streams in line with the brand to strengthen and accelerate the growth plan.
  • Responsible for COS PMO for all business development initiatives across the brand.
  • Overall responsible for CAPEX investments, expected to share recommendations with approval board to ensure maximized ROI on allocated CAPEX and clear follow up and reporting on investments done.
  • Build and lead a high performing and engaged team according to our values and leadership principles.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders within the wider H&M Group, including leasing, procurement, legal departments, and sustainability to secure their buy-in and contribution to COS’s growth and expansion plans.
  • Promote and build brand awareness amongst key internal and external stakeholders, including participation in external networks and forums.

In addition to our values for this role we are also looking for:

  • Understanding of store operations and have been involved in some capacity in store openings, market launches, consolidations, and store optimizations, across various markets and/or regions.
  • Experience in either business development and/or project Management would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and onboarding of new vendors, suppliers, or partnerships.
  • Sales driven, customer focused and with excellent business acumen exposure to the global retail market and industry development in all channels.
  • Strong, motivating, and proven leadership abilities.
  • Experience in driving business through leaders, teams and key stakeholder and delivering strong results.
  • Creative problem solver with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to think and work strategically; ability to plan and foresee opportunities and risk.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change according to changing business needs.

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London
