Reporting to the Regional Senior Supply Chain Merchandiser and based out of our office in New York, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to help shape the future growth of COS, build brand awareness and elevate our customer experience, contributing to our ambition to establish COS as a Sustainable International Power Brand in North America.

As the Regional Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the Omni Concept Merchandisers with the Region’s expansion projects by executing the plan and workload for each new opening, rebuild, and closing project in partnership with the Area team. You will maintain an overview of allocation and replenishment and take actions accordingly to maximize for each project.​ You will also support the Omni Concept Merchandisers with the implementation of each Concept’s strategy.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to**

  • Serve as the expert of stock actions and planning for expansion projects inclusive of but not limited to budget preparation to stock execution. ​
  • Fully own each expansion project’s deadline ensuring you set a clear timeline and consistently follow it up to secure execution while guaranteeing the commercial impact of stock for each store opening. ​
  • Support Omni Concept Merchandisers on report updating and execution of system work. ​
  • Execute promotion list, space management list, and end of pieces list are published in system for both Store and Online channel as needed.​
  • Secure quality of each expansion project with analysis on stock, income, buying levels and selling for new and rebuilding stores​
  • Assist in setting realistic recommendations for concept space in new and rebuilding stores.​
  • Set initial allocation and replenishment strategy for new and rebuilding stores.​
  • Coach Area Controllers on allocation strategy and follow up on allocation parameters for new stores​.
  • Serve as the link between the warehouses, Area, Visual Expansion and Store Development team in setting and informing about allocation dates and delivery planning for new stores.
  • Plan garment flow during rebuilding store departments and store relocation together with project merchandiser and visual team.

Compensation: Hiring range is $59,000 – $65,000 annually***
