As a Deskside Support Engineer (DSE), you will collaborate with SRE’s and DevOps Engineers, Development teams , Product Owners & Scrum Masters to realize critical business goals. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Europe, Canada and India.
What you’ll do :
(Desktops/laptops) - Hardware and software trouble shooting
Onboarding and Offboarding Users
Support the wider IT team with Server / Network issues
Provide installation and upgrade services of supported hardware and software
Maintain stock levels by managing the inventory of hardware equipment.
Ensure business continuity by managing on time renewals for IT services.
Provide support to the deployment teams for IT releases.
We’re looking for people who have :
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business.
Candidates need to be flexible, efficient and be able to work independently
Ability to communicate technical information to a non technical audience
Strong sense of customer service skills
Good organizational skills
Proficient with remote worker technology, accessibility and troubleshooting skills
Basic Network troubleshooting skills and knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Group Policy Objects experience.
This role is Hybrid : 3 times a week at our NIQ Brandbank Office in Norwich
