Job Description

You will be involved in: 

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of new and existing data processing solutions; enabling teams to be more efficient and effective in analyzing data and getting to insights faster 

  • A key contributor in providing data extraction and management solutions to a team of future data analysts as they develop analytics solutions 

  • Collaborate on data architecture efforts in support of key analytics innovations that involve multiple internal and/or external (client) stakeholders 

  • Develop efficient queries to retrieve appropriate datasets from relational databases 

  • Lead on the design, implementation and maintenance of reliable data pipelines that feed various analytics applications, both structured and unstructured data 

  • Lead on the design, implementation and maintenance of data transformation processes 

  • Work alongside key stakeholders within NIQ Brandbank to put data processing solutions into production environment 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent combination of skills and experience) 

  • 5+ years working within a data engineering environment 

  • Excellent SQL coding and experience with a broad array of development tools and platforms including 

  • E - SQL Server technologies (T-SQL, SSIS) 

  • E - Power BI or other Dashboarding Tool 

  • E - Azure (Data Factory, Cosmos DB) 

  • P - Visual Studio (Reporting Services, SSIS) 

  • P - Microsoft Synapse and Fabric 

  • Expertise in relational database design and data models 

  • Experience with various analytical data platforms and technologies 

  • Experience with using REST APIs, Cloud (Azure) 

  • Experience in custom or structured data integration design, implementation, and maintenance
