Job Description

As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and developing our cloud platform, working on our development, automation, and observability systems. You will be working with multiple cloud providers including GCP, Azure, AWS. You will be a part of establishing Our devSecOps program and contributing to our Multicloud platform initiative.

• Improve automation and decrease release cycle duration leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, Github, etc.  

• Integrate our observability platform across all our applications and services with OTel 

• Develop internal tooling for automating the deployment of applications across our environment  

• Create and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Framework 

• Develop GitOps Framework with tools like ArgoCD, Github 

• Generate Actions that enhance our Pipelines for IAC across our cloud platforms 

Qualifications

Required  

• Minimum 8 years exp 

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes  

• Experience developing and managing IAC within a Continuous Delivery Framework 

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or Google platforms.   

• Knowledge of configuring and managing a Cloud based infrastructure with IAC. 

• Public cloud automation tooling and scripting knowledge leveraging: Terraform, github actions, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation etc.  

• Experience with serverless such as Cloud build, Lambda and Azure functions.   

Preferred  

• Foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design  

• Passion for solving problems and iterating quickly  

• Hungry to learn and adapt to new technologies  

• Professional Certification or equivalent experience.  

• Experience managing and automating large scale cloud deployments.  

• Previous experience in Data Analytics
