Job Description
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated HR Generalist to join our a dynamic HR team, for 15 months FTC to cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the UK HR Operations Partner, the successful candidate for this role will be responsible for providing HR operations support to the HR Business Partners & Business Managers across the various business lines. You will be one of the key contacts for employees and a strong partner for the managers with UK based employees.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Managers, and the People Development team to ensure comprehensive expertise and exceptional service are delivered to all employees.
- Partner with managers to provide confidential guidance and support on people-related challenges within their business areas.
- Be a central point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to careers, performance, development, and compensation. Clearly communicate CGG policies and processes to ensure understanding.
- Support managers and employees with various employment relations matters, adhering to current employment legislation.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and facilitate effective communication with trade union and employee representatives
- Support the HR Business Partners on their global scope on specific people topics
- Utilize data and analysis to evaluate existing processes and support future HR planning.
This position is full time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). Flexible Hybrid Working - up to 3 days at the office / 2 working from home
Qualifications
- CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD accreditation desirable
Skills and Experiences:
- Experience of working within Human Resources and already working at HR Generalist/Junior BP level.
- Willing and able to occasionally travel to other CGG sites as required
- Being fluent in English. Speaking French is not required but a plus, which would facilitate the collaboration with the headquarter and the teams based in Massy when needed
