Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated People Services Administrator to join our a dynamic HR team based in Crawley. 

Reporting to the UK HR Operations Partner, the successful candidate for this role will support the HR administrative processes for the UK employee population. You will be working within a fast-paced Support Centre environment where proactive thinking, accuracy to work and a focus on customer services are vitally important.

As a member of the team, the People Services Administrator will be expected to develop within a changing environment and maintain key deadlines whilst providing full HR administrative support to the employee lifecycle of our UK employees.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the internal HR query queue, address employee queries, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Handle all new starter and leaver administration, oversee the onboarding process, and contribute to delivering first-day inductions to ensure an exceptional candidate experience at CGG.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, including employment references, right-to-work verifications, and contract signings, ensuring all required documents are obtained before employment commences.
  • Prepare accurate and high-quality contracts, contract amendments, probationary letters, and secondment agreements, among other documents.
  • Maintain all relevant HR employee documentation, including references, sickness notifications, and benefit information, in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
  • Oversee all aspects of leaver administration, including conducting exit interviews when necessary.
  • Collaborate with payroll and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless HR administration processes, such as managing sundry payments and providing timely employee information for payroll submissions.
  • Maintain employee files, ensuring all necessary documents are securely stored and files are managed according to GDPR guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of HR processes and documents.
  • Assist in coordinating internal HR audits and provide administrative support for employee benefits and rewards through the benefits platform.
  • Coordinate employee relocations to and from the UK or between UK business sites, liaising with relocation suppliers and making necessary travel bookings.
  • Support the annual review, objective setting, bonus, and salary review administration process in alignment with corporate requirements.
  • Keep the internal HR database (HRMS/OSS) up to date with employee changes and produce relevant reports upon request.
  • Handle TMS requests as needed and support the HR team in producing HR reports and metrics.
  • Participate in HR projects and other ad hoc activities, such as managing the Wellbeing Calendar.
  • Act as a travel booker for new starters and HR team members and reconcile the HR team credit card on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with relevant HR Business Partners or business line managers to produce and distribute UK On The Move communications.

This position is full time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). Flexible Hybrid Working - up to 3 days at the office / 2 working from home

Qualifications

 

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent relevant experience is required.

Skills and Experiences:

 

  • Previous experience in HR administration.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Ideally holds a Level 3 CIPD qualification or possesses proven relevant HR experience (preferred but not required).
  • Intermediate proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, Word, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.
