The Corporate and Leisure Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing travel arrangements for clients, providing exceptional customer service, making reservations, and offering expert travel advice and solutions.
The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, organizing flights, accommodations, and other travel services, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate and Leisure Travel Consultant in the Long Island Area.

Job Description
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Working on incoming and externally sourced leads to build a List of Repeat Travel Customers
Demonstrating an expert understanding of the most suitable Travel Product
Managing travel bookings from inquiry to completion
“Customer First” attitude and taking full ownership of our Customers In-Destination Experience
Maintaining relationships with repeat clients, and proactively managing your customer list
Engaging with Suppliers & Partners to ensure you can provide the most suitable choices for the customer's requirements
Working towards daily, monthly & annual goals
Following company procedures to ensure the protection of both parties
Working productively in what can sometimes be a pressurized environment
Traveling to events with suppliers, customers & wider industry peers
Qualifications
THE INDIVIDUAL
Written and verbal communication skills
Excellent numeracy skills
Passion for sales
Organized and ability to prioritize
Time management
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Team player but can work independently
Knowledge of travel industry trends and regulations
Proficiency in travel management systems and working with GDS (ideally Amadeus) is desirable
