The Staff Accountant will ensure local finance and accounting tasks, including month-end closing for multiple companies and other financial reporting tasks are executed in an accurate and timely fashion. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to Albireo Corporate and local Management.
Ensure transaction processing systems are properly maintained, proper authorization controls are followed, and accurate data is entered into the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system.
Prepare and post daily cash entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc. in addition to adjusting journal entries
Perform account analysis and reconciliations on numerous Balance Sheet accounts, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, detailed weekly payroll analysis and intercompany tie outs among all Albireo entities.
Provide support to Senior Accountants on but not limited to payroll, opex, revenue and gross margin analysis, and intercompany transactions.
Maintain sound accounting and financial practices and procedures and strive to present accurate, factual reports across Albireo.
Provide monthly financials in accordance with Albireo reporting standards.
Perform ad hoc reporting including in-depth analysis of sales, cost of sales, and operating expenses.
Adjust and adapt as circumstances change. Add value in a rapidly growing company.
Handle other duties and projects as needed including primary responsibility for audit coordination and PBCs.
Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies.
Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred, however, an equivalent combination of education and experience (High School Diploma or GED equivalent a minimum requirement) will also be considered.
3 years of relevant work experience in the field or relate area that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job , more specifically, experience with monthly closings, working in the commercial construction industry strongly preferred.
Must be able to work independently, support many divisions and wear many hats when the need arises.
Experienced in working with ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP – highly desirable.
M&A, Implementation and conversion experience preferred.
Proven track record of adding value to businesses beyond a “number crunching” role. Ability to critically analyze results and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Knowledge of construction industry, percentage of completion accounting and job costing preferred but not required.
Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
Commitment to “open door” and comfort with production floor presence and contact with all field employees.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation; Advanced excel skills required.
Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
