Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will own the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.

Role Responsibilities:

Supports the Senior Marketing Manager by developing and executing marketing initiatives to support delivery of the bank’s strategy.

Leads the development of email campaigns from brief through to final delivery of specific campaigns, and other initiatives to meet agreed business targets.

Understands the regulatory environment, to ensure plans are adapted to correctly position campaigns and content.

Works closely with the wider business to deliver integrated customer communications and quality experiences. This will include partners, Management Team, Relationship Managers, Operations, Product Management, Compliance and Legal.

Proactively engages with key stakeholders to ensure that they are well briefed on activities
Works closely with the CRM and Data & Insight teams to leverage insight to enhance the quality of their plans.

Represents Marketing when needed on projects, product working groups and in other forums.

Represents the Marketing team during crisis communication meetings and delivers actions as needed.

Manages day-to-day interaction with 3rd party agencies & suppliers, ensuring that high quality briefs are prepared for all new projects and that a detailed scope of work and associated costs are agreed before work is commissioned.

Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

·         A drive and passion for developing marketing plans and initiatives that are of a quality appropriate for the bank’s prestigious customer base.

·         Ability to think independently and manage your own workload – setting your own priorities and managing timelines.

·         Excellent communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.

·         Ability to problem solve and proactively manage issues as they arise.

·         Strong cross functional collaboration & stakeholder management skills.

·         Confidence in developing well thought out proposals and presenting them to senior management.

Necessary experience or qualifications:

Previous experience creating and delivering effective email marketing and communications campaigns using a CRM database.
Experience needed using  Dynamics 365 (D365).
Collaborating with design teams to ensure consistent brand and messaging.
Planning and execution of email campaigns for lead nurturing and customer retention.
Segment email lists for personalised content and expertise in manipulating data (e.g. using Excel Lookups / exporting from D365).
Analyse campaign performance for improvements.
You will need to be able to build and plan effective test & learn strategies to gain more campaign response insight, and continuously improve communications and ensure these are fully compliant with GDPR/PECR.
Intermediate level with Microsoft Office programmes – Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc. required.
