Salary guide of £29,000-£34,000 depending on experience

What will you be doing here?
This is a new key role and will provide further support to the compliance framework, specialising in customs compliance and export compliance laws and regulations, including UK, EU, and US (ITAR/ EAR).
· Responsible for GDPR, Data Privacy, ITAR, EAR, Export Control
· Assure complete adherence to all import, export, and customs authorisation requirements for the business.
· Manage and oversee the policies, procedures, and processes related to trade compliance and customs.
· Lead training for all staff in all compliance matters.
· Complete UK export licensing applications and support US authorisation management for relevant projects to enable compliant and timely deliveries.
· Support projects and bids by ensuring compliance with UK export control and US ITAR/EAR regulations, as well as customs import and export requirements.
· Audit Preparation
· Monthly reporting for employee overseas travel
· Maintaining export license application records and updates
· Provide summaries for MBR’s and SME’s

We also offer ‘Space as a Service’ by flying customer payloads on our spacecraft and by providing customers the ability to upload digital applications to operate on our hardware. ISM was founded in 2015 and has grown to comprise approximately 110 staff. The company was acquired by BAE Systems in 2021 and operates from offices and satellite cleanrooms located in Alton, Hampshire in the UK.
