We’re looking for a dedicated Depot Operative to join the Delivery Team at our Sawtry Branch, for a fixed term of 8 months

What will the role involve?
In conjunction with the Team Leader and Capital Stock Manager provide a hands-on service for all depot activities whilst supporting the Operations teams as and when required. You will be the focal point for welcoming all visitors to the depot. You will promote positivity at all times. The role may involve lone working or as part of a team.
Tasks include;
- Stock Control - physical inventory checks and stock security.
- Load and unload deliveries with forklift and 6m and 10m 4-wheel drive Tele Handler trucks ensuring delivery note/paperwork is complete and correct.
- Collation and picking of Build Stock.
- Dismantling are recycling Bus Shelter Stock
- Managing foliage around Depot Boundary
- Poster preparation, counting and booking via Oasis, sorting into individual rounds for other team members.
- Take responsibility for keeping the depot organised and tidy.
- Carry out Health and Safety audits.
- Recycling/management of waste
- Be one of the first points of contact for visitors to the depot, ensuring visitors sign in/out of the depot correctly.
- Ensure that work is organised to ensure the efficient use of time and resource.
- Identify and communicate to the Branch any information of relevance to the current state and condition of all Clear Channel structures or products.
- Ensure that all company procedures, specifications, and systems are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements within the role and activity are followed at all times. If anything is unclear report this to Team Leader or Operations Manager.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of Company information at all times.
- Actively promote the image and business of the Company at all times.
- Be a keyholder to open and lock up as required
What is required for the role?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Comfortable with manual tasks
- Driving experience
- Forklift driving experience.
- Telehandler Licence
- MEWP Licence preferably
- Previous working outdoor experience
- Basic IT knowledge
