As our Senior Business Development Manager, you'll dive deep into specific programmatic GTM strategies, mastering the nuances of our customer value proposition. Your role will involve meticulous research to pinpoint stakeholders within our target market, followed by direct engagement to nurture and qualify potential opportunities.
Our Salesforce platform will equip you with the insights and tools required to navigate your target addressable market effectively. Every step of your progress will be documented ensuring clarity and transparency as you drive results.
Vertical Market knowledge:
The successful candidate will be solely responsible for selling to buy side institutional financial institutions such as fund management groups, insurance firms, hedge funds, pension funds, mancos/ACDs and private banks, amongst others. A demonstrable knowledge of the operating models of such firms would be a significant. Leading responsibilities are:
Outbound calling both new prospects and existing clients
To proactively call and understand the needs of and engage with prospects/customers who have either shown an interest in our products or introduce them to our solutions either through lead generation or referral activity.
To follow up marketing activity to actively encourage attendance at product webinars or to arrange demos
Answering potential customer questions and follow-up call questions
To proactively call existing clients to book meetings in line with campaigns, increasing flows and widening foothold in firms.
Where required work with the onboarding team to ensure clients are getting the best out of the service through usage of FEA/Digi/Portal – work with AM, BDM & Onboarding specialist.
Support regions and territory grow and retain assets under management in line with BDM efforts
Raising awareness of all model ranges and broader FE Fundinfo proposition
Develop skills as required to fulfil the role, understand tools and systems
Learn our product and service offerings, functionality, market positioning and competitive advantages.
Work towards industry examinations
To join us as a Senior Business Development Manager you will need the following experience and skills:
You will have a strong understanding of the funds and investments industry
You come with solid sales experience within financial services
You have excellent communication skills conveying confidence, sincerity and professionalism, with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation
You are a self-starter – identifying opportunities and gaps through client conversations
You have strong presentation skills – reinforce the FEI proposition to clients
You are an effective communicator – explaining our proposition effectively (in detail/light touch as appropriate)
You have excellent time management and ability to organise time effectively
You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
