Our investment research website, Trustnet, is looking for a Investment Reporter, who will be instrumental in helping readers understand how issues such as high inflation, climate change and politics move the market and affect their portfolios.
This role is ideal for those at the start of their financial journalism career and the successful candidate will be part of an editorial team that prioritises training, development and a supportive culture. Your day will involve writing news and research articles about funds, markets and investments from sources such as industry contacts, FE fundinfo’s investment data, news releases and third-party research.
In this role, you will eventually become equally comfortable interrogating a fund manager running billions of pounds as you will analysing a spreadsheet looking for market trends. Investment might sound like a complicated subject matter, but the most important thing is that you have boundless curiosity, an interest in finance and a passion for quality journalism.
